Beacon Light Behavioral Health System is looking for a Personal Care Aide who is responsible for providing supervision and guidance to STRIDE (Specialized Therapeutic Residence For Intellectual and Developmental Empowerment) clients in a school setting. Acts as a support to classroom teachers. The STRIDE program is a Joint Commission accredited residential program for children who have intensive needs requiring a longer length of stay in treatment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate or the equivalent but preference is given to college trained individual with background in child development, psychology, education or a related field

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

This position gives preference to individuals with an active driver's license and a DMV check that is clear. Position may require travel in the local community or to assist with individuals attending required appointments or visits.
